James and Stephanie Kuhn, Napoleon, ND 701-426-6921 These Red Angus heifers have been on a full vaccination and mineral program. Weighing around 900 lbs. They have been vet checked and are open and breedable. These beautiful ladies are coming straight out of our replacement pen. Justin and Chris Weigel, Kintyre, ND.701-321-1840 In February, these heifers were Bangs vaccinated and given Preg Guard shot and pink eye shots and poured with Clean Up. In the spring, they received two rounds of shots (birth and turnout) and this fall they had Inforce 3, One Shot, BVD, Ultrabac 7 Somubac. At weaning, they were boostered with Somubac and Bovi Shield Gold 5. They are on a full mineral program and they are the top of our herd for replacement heifers. We have used Kuhn’s Red Angus bulls for many years. They will weigh 850-900 lbs.

Karen Mutschler or Jeremy Hoff, Eureka, SD 605-281-0055 or 605-281-0257 These heifers are February- and March-born calves and have been on a full vaccination program with four rounds of shots: Birth: Alpha 7, Autogenous Mycoplasma, Autogenous Type A, Nasalgen 3 PMH, Excede and CattlActive Pasture Turnout: Vista Once, Caliber 7, Autogenous Mycoplasma, Nasalgen 3, LongRange, CattlActive and DNA tested Preweaning: Pyramid 5 Weaning: Vista Once, Caliber 7, Autogenous Somnus, Autogenous Mycoplasma, and poured with Clean Up In December, they were Bangs vaccinated, pelvic measured, checked open and breedable. They were given Bovi Shield Gold FP5/VL5 and EID Bangs tags by Dr. Cassie Holtz out of Bowdle Vet Clinic. At this time, we gave them another Autogenous Type A. They have never had creep feed and have been on a 45 mCal balanced ration, free-choice garlic salt blocks and were given Safeguard dewormer in November. Picked for maternal characteristics, maternal and disposition. They are all on a 40 mCal ration since December and have never had creep feed or implants and carry no brands. These heifers are all April and May born. No heifers have been kept back – these are the top end of the entire heifer crop. These heifers come from many years of sires from Crosshair Simmental genetics along with top AI sires and should make great cows. Heifers will be averaging 800-850 pounds. The heifers were given Ultrabac CD at birth. June 1 – Inforce 3, One Shot BVD, 7 Way/Som and pink eye shot. Nov. 1 – CattleMaster Gold, One Shot and 7 Way/Som, injectable dewormer. Nov. 21 – Bovi Shield Gold, Somubac, poured with Clean Up. Feb. 26 – Bangs vaccinated and pregnancy checked open and breedable by the Steele Veterinary Clinic. Given CattleMaster VL5 and poured with Clean Up
